1 baby pram rug , 1 crocheted throw rug and a quilt that just required binding that has been hanging around for 6 years.
Plenty more to go but now I have started crocheting the wavy rug that Marina from Maisie and the Boys is doing. Having a few problems with pattern as I am not the best at crochet but it will not beat me!

UFO Blitz
Well back at school this week and ready for next holidays!
Great thing was I could sew and make a start on all the UFOs' waiting to be completed.
Some only needed stitching up or buttons sewn on.
These are my wins.

M.I.A
And I am back. Have been MIA for so long and have had so much trouble with blogger. Someone had managed to hijack my login and have not been able to access as well as building a new home ,selling up, mother moving in and my daughters having babies.
My new home is amazing and I now have a 4.2 x 3.6 dedicated sewing /craft room that is off limits to all in the house , except for the cat and dog who think it is theirs for sunning in.

Glorious rain!
What a nasty week it has been beginning with last Sunday when once again uncontrolled fires caused many problems. Homes and livestock have been lost and injured wildlife are now surfacing. My sister in law runs a wildlife rescue service and needless to say a lot of roos have been burnt. Here is the cheeky wallaby having a feed..
Finished the week with a little hand sewing while it was raining , not sure what they will be yet. It was just lovely to finally hear the rain pinging of the tin roof.

A new toy
I was considering buying the Brother Scan and Cut but not quite sure. A lovely 40% voucher from Spotlight and here it is.
May need to be an IT specialist to use it but am willing to give it a go. Oh the lovely things I can cut for applique. I should mention my decision was also influenced by my lovely husband whose exact words were "If you want it go and get it before they sell out". No second invitations needed.

Quick project for a lazy Sunday
Way too hot to work outside today so perfect inside with the ducted cooling. A few repairs before they get out of hand and then onto a cute bear in basketball shorts and singlet.
A quick trip to Spotlight for some lace and........... 13 mtrs of material. It was on special.
Not sure what I will make with these panels but way too pretty to leave behind. Probably didn't need all 9 but it was the end of the bolt.

Back to School we go.
Well school has commenced and holidays for me are at an end. It has been extremely hot and sewing at a standstill except for 2 Diary covers. A new project is in the drawing stages but I am still fiddling with EQ7. Not an easy program at times.

Christmas Holiday
Half way though the first month of 2014 and ready to start the school year. Have only just arrived back from the very hot and humid Fiji. Cruising the islands was amazing and unfortunately my sewing was not even picked up.

Nearly Christmas
Well Christmas is nearly upon us and the sewing is nearly complete. Just a table cloth and
chevron runner to go. Made these cute little Pocha Owls from Christmas scraps for some friends at work.
